Front:              Spax adjustable height and stiffness, 2.25 400lbs springs, rose-jointed spitfire mk4 anti-roll bar.

Rear:               Spax adjustable stiffness, shorter than stock length, SAH up-rated rear fixed spring, Gt6 rotoflex uprights with Mgf hubs, bearings and outer CV joints, Rover 100 half-shafts with Volvo 340 inner CV joints.

 

 

Engine

Head:              Early 1500 FWD 1.43 inlets, 1.25 Exhaust 7.4 CR 1.65 roller rockers

Block:             1300 mk3 spitfire, fully dynamically balanced, lightened, shot peened rods

                        1300 flywheel

Clutch:            ford Mexico mk1 7.5 inch diameter

                        Intake: 2 Twin Dellorto 45 Lotus Esprit turbo carburettors

Exhaust:         4-2-1 manifold into 2 inch pipe with modified motorbike back-box

Induction:        Eaton m45, pace 3 core charge cooler,

Cooling:          Peugeot 205 alloy radiator, electric water pump with modified controller unit

Fuelling:          Facet 20psi vane pump into boost sensitive regulator with return line to tank

Ignition:           3d mapped ford based Megajolt    

 

Drive

Gearbox:        Ford 5 speed Type9, ratio’s 1st 3.65, 2nd 1.97, 3rd 1.37, 4th 1, 5th 0.83

Differential:    4.11 with large output flanges

 

Body

GRP:               Doors, Bonnet, Boot lid, front valance

Steel:              tatty body tub, floors etc

Wheels:          Mgf standard 15 inch alloy

Tyres:              Yokohama AVS sport, 195/50/15 front, 205/50/15 rear

Roof:               Mk3 Soft-top with Mk4 modified frame so it fits over the roll-bar

Safety:            FIA spec Safety Devices rear roll-bar, Britax 3 point harness’s

Seats:             Mazda Mx5 GRP race seats

Fuel tank:       Alloy foam filled 5 gallon tank with Citroen BX fuel sender
